Numbers are close as for the 85 scholarship limit and things are still in motion.

Couple more kids Arizona has been pursuing are still available. Looking at the transfer portal heavy right now. The portal is open from Dec 4 until Jan 2. The early signing period is for two days starting the 20th  of Dec. There are guys that will enter the portal after bowl games as well, but want to play in their current bowl games. Some players have already left their teams even though those teams have bowl games. It will be interesting to see all the motion near that signing day period of time.

The staff is evaluating the portal only with players there are established relationships with. Still working on some of the traditional recruits.

I don't have a crystal ball or anything, but I think Shaw and Maae might be locks. Our DB unit might be the best in the country next year. Not sure about that Oregon commit. But it'd be something if we could steal another top WR recruit from them. One last F U to Oregon before they leave to the Big Ten.

Little more about the transfers we have offered and those we have visiting this weekend.

There are five confirmed transfer portal visitors this weekend starting today.

Matthews was heavily recruited by us before committing to Utah.
The Arnolds are from Oregon state and we know about them. These guys are step brothers and very good!
We know we want Maae on the DL
Shaw is a little less known here, but not unknown to the staff.

All would be nice additions, even upgrades on some of them.

DJ Wesolak from Missouri will be in town beginning Thursday. This is a huge visit coming. He was a LB at Missouri, but will likely be an Edge guy here. Very talented player that was not used to his strengths at Missouri. He should have three years to play.
