To Wildcatazfan, GizmoCatDuck, and any others who have started, organized, and set up this site...Thank You Very Much.  I've felt so lost since PGU went down.  I never really realized how much it meant to me to discuss UofA Wildcat Basketball, the games, the players, etc., with other fans until PGU shut down.  I googled for a Wildcat Basketball fan site many times, but never saw this one.  Then my friend, Isq Da Apache emailed me about this site.  It looks real good and I have no doubts about it getting better.  Again, thanks for building this site.

You're most welcome for the service of this site to support your needs.

So if I read you correctly, this site wasn't popping up on your Google search radar? Interesting. I wonder what could be done to help it along? The style is old, but works well. I know the creators of this forum software have put in some good features to help keep SPAM users at bay, but maybe a bit too much for the needs here. ;)

Which could be why my site isn't as popular, expect seen in TraceMyIP by links from my "old" sites if a new viewer, and word of mouth like you had through email, and various social media sites.

Amongst many things to improve the Quality of Service, that will have to be investigated by any number of us that has the gumption to look for a possible solution and share it.

I had been on PGU for about seven years I believe.  I always felt that it was quite cliquey.

With the start of this season I was itching for a new forum and I found this site.  I hope that it will be a fun and informative environment!

I give all my love and admiration to WildcatAzFan and Gizmoduck. Many thanks and I look forward to being on this site regularly to pleasantly discuss our Wildcats!

Looks like Ace pulled a Lazarus and is back posting on Instagram

So noted by Erik, @StatFreak101 on Twitter as I PM'd with him that he had seen a post in the last week or so, but it was gone before he could take a look.

I dunno - but I really think you might consider letting this go.  PGU doesn't exist - yet this is a constant reminder.  IMO you should have a 'burial' ceremony, take down the thread and move forward

I say leave the 2 PGU posts right where they're at. As former PGU members find this post they will be able to read through and add to it. I do agree that eventually it should be removed as a sticky, but old PGUers are finding this site everyday and see wondering what happened to PGU.

Being a former PGU member I did read this thread. It's entertaining but not really the top pinned welcome post I associate with the general good nature of the community here. There were a lot of good fans and discussions on the previous site and it's nice to see some familiar names find their way here.

What about pinning a welcome post with some background at the top and letting this one drop. Maybe a link in the welcome thread so the former pgu crowd could still find and post on it with any feedback or updates.

While i mostly enjoyed PGU and it's why I am here, I just don't see the need to pin an Ace thread at the top of a Wildcat Basketball forum.

Exactly my point.  It's like going to a Toyota  dealer and have a sales rep run out and thrashing Honda with about talking about the value of Toyota first.
