May be over for the season but the expectation are soaring for the future. Something between injuries and other things within the team just did not mesh this year but the returning players combined with the incoming class of recruits is very promising.

With the stellar recruiting class, amazing coaches and veteran players returning in the Fall...Arizona will absolutely be in a better position to win a title.

Can't wait to see this program continue to grow.  Proud of this season, despite the early tournament exit.

The women did completely out perform my original assessment of the team. They were worn down at the end and were not deep enough to sustain their early season success. Recruiting should shore this up, can't wait until next season.

This won't be a popular opinion, but I'm going to say it anyway.

Losing on our home court like that was embarrassing.

I can get over a loss. A thorough ass whooping on our court is another story. The fanbase acted pretty pretentious as usual with the Tucson Oligarchy, but that is not uncommon.

Last year we were something of a secret. The secret is out and that's OKAY. We should be running on some respect.

But.. and here is where I think some people will get butt hurt.

If anyone ever watched D2: The Mighty Ducks, I think Adia Barnes sort of hit the Gordon Bombay wall where she was feeling herself way too much throughout the season. Early success coming off of a missed shot from winning a chip. I think it got to her head. She was a little too Mr. Big Stuff, and who did she think she was? (As the song goes).

I'd really like to see Adia get back to the basics next season. This is hopefully going to be a character building defeat. And at least we were good enough to be given a chance to play on our home court like that. The NCAA gave us that much respect.

Wishing for the best this offseason. Can't expect to go deep every year.

Kinda agree arxpert, but it was set up that way. ALL three teams in our bracket had better records than us! SF Austin and UNLV were conference champions. N Carolina ranked 17th and 18th while we were 19th and 16th. How we even got to host amazes me.

We have not looked good the last month of the season as we were in limp mode and it seemed we had a chemestry issue within the team somewhere because at times our D was awesome and yet we had no answer for UNC or even UNLV at times. Our O was terrrible! Scoring was an issue for sure!

I think we will bunce back next year!
