Brandon Williams commits to the Arizona Wildcats for a 2nd time

Top 50 PG Brandon Williams remains committed to Arizona

Crespi point guard Brandon Williams provided Arizona with its second commitment of the Wildcats' 2018 class on June 6, giving the Wildcats the 39th ranked prospect in the nation, joining Top 50 power forward Shareef O'Neal.
Since then, the Wildcats added a commitment from Scout's 22nd ranked prospect in point guard Jahvon Quinerly.
The fact that Arizona had two Top 50 point guard commitments led to some speculation if the two were willing to coexist, which looked like it came to a head on Aug. 16, when a tweet from the 6-foot-1, 175-pound Williams announced he was decommitting from the Wildcats.

However, Williams quickly deleted the tweet, stating that he was hacked and that he was still committed to Arizona.

Williams' father, Chris Wright, confirmed to Scout that his son's tweet speaks for itself.
"He got hacked," Wright said. "He's 100% committed to Arizona. It's been his dream school for life. He's ready to come in and compete."

According to Wright, not only was Quinerly's commitment a non-issue with Williams, but it's something that his son wanted.
"He helped recruit Quinerly," Wright said. "He's been working on him for a while. So when Quinerly announced he was committing, I already knew where he was going."
Wright says there is no wavering with Williams' commitment and that he'll be in an Arizona uniform next season.
"He'll be there for the Red/Blue game," said Wright. "He's looking forward to coming in and competing in 2018."

Nice job getting a screen shot of the deleted tweet.  I wanted to see exactly what it said.  I'm thinking someone got a hold of his phone and was trying to be hilarious, NOT funny, LOL
