That is going to happen.
I thought about making a thread about it, but I stopped for some reason.
Thanks to you, I may go ahead and make the thread now.

I don't have any problem just stacking our team with wings 6'5 - 6'8 guys with athleticism and length. I'd rather add wing depth in Armstrong who has a ton of (maybe immediate) upside than add a not-so-great-right-now big.

Armstrong posted this on social media a bit ago. Check out Nico and Green's comments.

Another factor that I don't think none of us have brought up is that Armstrong might even redshirt.
When you look at the amount of wings we are going to have (Smith/Akot/Randolph/Doutrive/Thielemans) returning, and then Green and Armstrong, there is no way in hell I see Miller playing SEVEN wings.
3-4 might get good minutes, 1-2 get spot minutes, and then 1-2 are getting little to time at all.

I would go as far to say we may have some transfer(s) before our 2018-19 season is finished.

This kid likely loves the UA, but he's got to be thinking about the same thing many of us are thinking. It's somewhat crowded at his positions. There's a reasonable chance he gets lost in the shuffle and becomes a future transfer. This is even more likely if nothing else happens to disrupt our momentum in recruiting. If SM is back to high level recruiting well beyond this year, we'll be restocking at his position pretty much every year. I can see him mulling over wanting to join a program that needs him more than we do.

Oregon is officially off of Terry Armstrong's list and he's down to Arizona, Oklahoma, & New Mexico. Expect him to make his announcement next week. 😼

Well with Thielemans gone, it doesn't seem AS crowded as it would have been with him.
The speculation is going to continue, but one body gone can make a big difference.

I still believe Smith is going to be a grad-transfer after the season is can't make any progress in his game, and I still believe we could lose another wing via NBA/transfer.
There are going to be a lot of talent behind him and I believe Miller will begin to prefer talent > experience.
Green/Armstrong/Doutrive have more promise than Smith does and two of them are still in HS!
Just saying..

Haven't seen much other than a few highlights but reminds me of Jimmy Butler. We can only hope.

And this is before or after Marquette?

During and after. Leg kick on the shot and some of the fades most notably.
