One Shining Moment

By my count we had 9 Moments in the video package.

1 Moment hit different though.

It was Koa Peat and Dwayne Aristode with their arms around each other in defeat.

It was the first time both of them had their names in a Box Score in Defeat in College.

It took all the way until the Final Four in order for that to happen.

I am absolutely positive if Koa didn't miss the Kansas and Texas Tech Games we would have gone Undefeated as a team on the season. Yes even on Big Monday.

But I just wanted to share this reflection. It was a #STAT I had been holding onto in hopes to not put it into the universe before it needed to be.

I think it was a special moment and a great Still Photo if someone captured it/could from the Video and increase the Resolution.

I was in Section 300 so I couldn't get a quality photo, unless you were interested in the Chainsmokers (who were awful).

I'm planning to watch the OSM video shortly.  It took the editing team entirely too long to put it together and I grew impatient last night...switched to hockey.

With Koa and Dwayne, this team was complete.  Saturday was the exception because Michigan was playing at a freakish level.  They earned the title.

I actually am an Aristode Guy. I know it sounds like he's been 1 foot out the door for the last 2 months, but that picture should live in Arizona Wildcat Basketball Infamy imho.

I loved watching Koa Peat play this year. When he was out there, we always stood a fighting chance. It will be very sad to see him go. I really wish he would read the room after the Jaden Ivey situation and give it another year, let that pass and cool down, come back, make double the money he would in the NBA next year and lead us back to get the job done this time.

Oh well. We got treated to a special season that checked my personal boxes which do not include a Final Four Appearance, but the Purdue Comeback was fun to watch. I actually thought Matt Painter messed up big time. He had us dead to rights and he went completely away from what was working in the 1st half with Daniel Jacobsen out there making it impossible for us to do anything.

It really put a bigger blueprint out on how to beat us for Michigan.

I wish we had another shot at Michigan. Similar to Iowa state in the conference semis, they couldn't miss. In the title game, U-M couldn't make a three to save their lives. Wide open.
