I would have thought the same thing but Lloyd didn't bench Burries when he missed 7 consecutive field goals on Saturday.  I'm hoping that Aristode slowly increases his minutes throughout conference play so he can improve his ballhandling.  The jumper is obviously solid!

2 reasons for that.

Set and Setting.

Set - No choice when playing a team like Alabama who is going to live and die by chucking 3s.

Setting - Foul Trouble forced a few players to have to be micromanaged and Burries was tasked to step up and bridge the gap for Bradley.

Otherwise the expectation holds true. Tommy trusted Burries and it paid off.

Burries is starting to look a bit like a Tyrese Maxey or maybe a little hint of a Devin Booker out there in some ways in the old Kentucky "too much talent" era under Calipari. Sort of a bench guard, not a primary weapon, but a guy who can knock them down and takeover at times.
