Another DOMINANT game for McNeeley. If only Carter was allowed to play the actual sport of Basketball.

Yeah I do not understand at all why Bryant does not get more playing time. I just don't understand it at all. He can't get better if he doesn't play and get consistent minutes to improve either.

Because it's hard to justify playing a kid who fouls, almost as often as he grabs a rebound.  I LOVE his upside and can't wait to see him at his full potential but Bryant has the worst FG% on the team, and is a huge liability when he's shooting 3's AND FT's.  He'll definitely earn minute as he improves throughout the conference season.

McNeely is OK but nothing special yet.  Arizona is shooting poorly from the field...yet Liam's 42.9% from the floor is still only better than Bryant and Love, which doesn't say much.  Does he also have upside?  Yes.  But I'd never give a poor shooter the "green light" until they're consistent at the D-1 level.

No one can use the phrase "Earn Minutes" with a straight face at this juncture of the season with the results that have been put out by Tommy. Either admit that every single player is not Arizona Level, or admit that the sample size is not big enough to make your conclusion about Carter. He has not been given any chance to get his game going this season no matter what you say and when All the players are this bad, then you have to look at the Coach

I'd be ecstatic to say that somebody outside of Bradley "earned" their minutes.

When Carter is the worst FG shooter and FT shooter (prior to Awaka's two misses on Saturday), it's hard to justify leaving him on the court.

I think the kid is amazing and really hope he turns it around but I understand exactly why he has limited court time.

Only four guys have significant minutes. Love's should be cut. Otherwise, the next five players (including Bryant) are all within 3 minutes of PT. It isn't a huge discrepancy.

Carter is not a turnstile defensively. That's a rarity on this team. That alone should earn him more minutes.

Similarly, Boswell led the team in steals and was dead last in FG% last year.

Realistically though, Bryant is a better all-around defender and doesn't take "as many" shots.
