I really hope the U of A can offer coach Fisch enough to stay. If he gets offered say 7 mil to leave, he is likely to take his coaches and best players as well. What do you think. Will he stay or go if they break the bank?

Arizona has to grow a set and find the money to match the offer. Bottom line. Can't spend peanuts and expect football success at our program. We're one cheapskate move away from being right back at the bottom again.

Or in this era of can a school like ours just hire another Coach and buy good players for cheaper than the Coach's salary.

I know everyone is elated at the job Jedd did this season, but no one should blame him for riding his momentum into a payday. This is one reason why I use the words "Ghouls" when referring to the Administration.

However, pretty amazing what type of panic bigger football institutions have and what they are willing to do just to get what they want like panic buying scalped prices on sold out goods on ebay.

Makes me wonder how much people care sometimes. Example: Arkansas is in the Top 10 of most Billionaires in a State and they don't seem to get the Walton's or JB Hunt to just throw money around to buy a Super Team and go head to head with Alabama, Georgia every year.

I have heard from some people on the inside, and AZ is actively working on a second extension with JF. It will be fine.

Rumors about every single coach in college football have been floating about A&M.

I think Fisch would consider a big job but couldn't envision him in College Station. It's a lot of pressure and demand to win for a university that doesn't have a history of success. Plus, their geographic location is awful. Tucson is beautiful and could attract more recruits.

I heard Kyle Whittingham's name being thrown around. Utah might be in a bit of trouble if he left.

Texas A&M is chalk full of rich boosters who have no common sense even if they were successful in business. They just flush money down the drain when they get bored of a Coach. That is an attractive lure for Any HC.

It is Low Hanging Fruit to just throw a Dollar amount in front of a person and saying when we tell you to Jump you say How High because you are getting that money.

Jedd shouldn't take it, but let's see if Ted DiBiase was correct when he used to say and I quote "Everyone's Got a Price".

I didn't expect Elko to be the guy.  My assumption is that multiple coaches (including Fisch) disregarded the phone call from College Station.

Hopefully, Arizona's boosters prioritize football and give our staff a significant raise, to show recruits that we a serious about sustained success.  It would be nice to take over the Big-12, which will be an easier task with UT/OU out of the picture.
