KJ was out there playing with a chip on his shoulder!! He's 100% underrated, knocking him outta the top 100 was nutty

I'm not against Pelle at the 4 in a small lineup, but the fact of the matter is whoever the 5 is better have an insane motor and be able to mop up a ton of bricks. Otherwise the "small ball" 4sm will have to be lights out shooting to work. Ballo can't possibly be the 5 he will need an oxygen mask to pull it off.

If Tommy plays under 10 players per game it will be a failure of his coaching ability. It doesn't matter how minutes are dispersed when you have this amount of talent. There are 2 teams of 5 that could be starting 5s independent of each other and be ranked teams on this roster.

Success is based on wins, not participation trophies to players that would deserve minutes in alternative circumstances.

Although I hate everything related to Hurley, UCONN won a national title while only playing 8 players on a regular basis (despite having a deep bench that could have been utilized).

And what about teams like SDSU and FAU that went deep because they played 9-10 players on demand at any given matchup? No one even heard of Viktor Goldin until the time came to deploy him completely cold and out of the blue in a matchup based scenario.

So are you confirming what I always say? That Final Fours are not impressive? Winning it all is impressive... Can't have it both ways. FAU doesn't make the Final Four without mixing and matching. Neither does SDSU.

I am taking this as confirmation that making the Final Four will feel good for 3 days, but losing in the Final Four will feel equal to losing in the Elite 8 by all true psychological measures. Winning it all is the only thing that will scratch anyone's itch.

KU and UK only had 7 guys each that played double-digit minutes throughout the season.  SDSU and FAU were the anomaly in the Final Four.

Winning a National Title is not the only factor that defines a program but it is extremely meaningful when determining whether a school is considered "elite" or a "blue-blood".  GREAT coaches make the Final Four; GOOD coaches play consistently good basketball.

Hopefully, Arizona can get back to greatness...
