A lot of names coming in, but I need to see results before I begin to stamp his recruiting efforts as a pass/fail.
Right now, this is an "IP" as in "in progress" for the two Euro prospects in the 2022 class, and the other two coming in this 2023 class.
The worst part is that the grade(s) won't be handed out until their careers here are over, and we compare how Arizona looks before/after.

Tommy Lloyd is expected to land Top 10 overall type recruits. At least 1 per class or so or at least 1 Burger Boy. That's the minimum. Of course the fan base has been beaten down into taking whatever it can get going back to when Miller became strapped by the Ghouls, but Miller found elite quality. Tommy is finding quality too in the NIL Mercenary era.

The big issue is Tommy has all resources available and is being beat out by other Pac12 schools for top talent. He also should never allow a top prospect that plays in Arizona (Phoenix) ever make it out of his clutches. Finally, after U$C is gone with UCLA, there are no more excuses left. Tommy needs to pull in someone major at some point. I believe he will. Can't miss out on top players to Tad Boyle in Colorado and expect fans to be happy go lucky.

Phoenix has a travel basketball scene that will be filling up high D1 rosters for years. Arizona literally doesn't have enough spots on its rosters for elite prospects playing in the Phoenix metro area alone.

I agree, he needs to do better at establishing those relationships, but Dream City Christian, AZ Compass prep, Hillcrest etc are pushing out elite talent coast to coast.

Maybe we get one back with Kaluma.

That said, the path to success in the NIL era is "get old and stay old". I'd rather load up on guys like Keshad Johnson than a fringe burger boy every day.

The game changing talent coming out of highschool are following the Scoot Henderson path to the league and skipping over this college basketball maze entirely.

Again, get old and stay old is the way. Sprinkle in some European developmental players and grab a decent 4/5 star or two and you have an ideal recipe.

Calipari is struggling far more than Tommy is currently because the ground shifted underneath him.

We're also starting to understand what a Tommy player plays like and it's a helluva lot more like a Boswell 2-way player than I previously thought.

If we continued to grab at least one top-10 player per year, our roster would be regularly turning over and we'd continue to miss Final Fours because the selfish high end recruits only care about stats and draft status.

This is a solid balance of recruiting and hopefully it pays off.

Calipari has been riding a rollercoaster of success and disappointment because he wouldn't stray from the blue chip strategy.

We'll see how Arizona does in 3 years...after Lloyd has four full years of recruiting his own players to the program.
