The Suns could use a guy like Tubelis at the end of the draft if they even have a pick. Otherwise the Wizards would be a good fit for him if they can pick him in the 2nd round too. Not sure if these teams own their 2nd round picks anymore. NBA draft 2nd round is a formality after Pick 35 usually. Just a way to secure some type of talent as a stash abroad or G League.

At this point, Tube needs a pretty insane showing at the Combine to get drafted. Doesn't help that the Draft is only 58 picks this year because Chicago and Philly value tampering more than they value 2nd Round picks.

I agree with the sentiment that he's mostly likely to get a 2-way deal after the draft, unless he gets some very specific feedback in the combine on something he can improve in his final year at AZ to become more of a draft lock. Given NIL and salary disparity on league minimum > 2-way deal where over half is in G league, it's not outside the realm of reason a bright guy like that could still run the calculation and come back...if the feedback warrants it. I'll miss him.

2 way contracts and Zu's rumored NIL amount are relatively close at $500k respectively. If he gets notice that he's likely a 2 way contracts guy, I'd be shocked if Arizona can't increase that NIL deal and really make a strong push to keep him his final year. Makes a bit more by staying than he would leaving, sets records and potentially increases his stock above a simple 2 way K.

No idea what kind of money Europe is offering.
