With the exception of building depth for one season, NONE of those players would have helped this program going forward.
What player has T. Lloyd replaced these players with that will help the program going forward... NONE?

Tyty wanted to go pro immediately but picked UK as a one and done destination so he could earn ESPN attention.
Many players would pick UK over Arizona and not just for "ESPN attention" but for a variety of reasons... You still go after blue blood talent but it's a good idea to expand the recruiting options if you know UK is on a target's list IMO.

It's and T-Brown both had intentions of leaving after graduation. We never lost them.
There was no mention in any article of this or in any BDU post that I read before Miller was fired, please correct me if I'm wrong.  Secondly, why not re-recruit them to Arizona?  Other basketball coaches have done it, heck look no farther than Fisch in football and Chip Hale in baseball who both brought players back to the team who left.

Akinjo was t. Worst shooter on our team last year (by percentage).
Akinjo was the biggest difference maker and leader of last year's team hands down, he lead in points, steals and assists.  Akinjo shot over 40% from 3 and with T. Lloyd's player development his FG shooting could have improved as well.

Baker is always (and still is) hurt.
Baker has been injury prone, but they have been different injuries, so it isn't a chronic condition like Brandon Williams. 
Besides, Baker wasn't hurt when he made 7, 3 pointers and scored 33 points the most-ever by any player under head coach Sean Miller last year or when he made 8 3-pointers and scored 28 points vs. PAC12 conference opponent Stanford last season.

Dezonie wasn't good enough to earn a major scholarship elsewhere; he knew that he was buried on our depth chart.  Batcho?  Really?
I thought it was a good idea to have a coach who cared about player development and role players as upperclassmen, isn't that T. Lloyd's shtick?

Assuming we land a PG and 1 more big this season, we'll be fine.

I agree, but realistically... What about T. Lloyd's recruiting thus far leads you to believe that is likely?

Unfortunately, it was too late to try and bring Akinjo back from Baylor.  His planned to transfer immediately after Miller's firing was announced.  Regardless, he shot a higher percentage from 3 than he did from the field.  The kid was streaky from beyond the arc and miserable from close-range.  His assists were only up because he was the only guy handling the ball last year.

T-Brown and Ira were both out the door, regardless of the coach.  Both knew that they could have a huge role on this year's team but they graduated; they weren't typical "transfers".

Baker looked amazing on offense before the last injury.  It's a bummer because he's amazing when fully healthy.  He's made TWO 4-game "healthy" runs in his 3 year career (only one in Tucson).  Otherwise, there's always something wrong/injured.

Lloyd would have gladly developed Dezonie.  HE was the one that opted to flip to Vandy.  We have a plethora of wings at the moment, but he could have absolutely earned playing time within the next couple years if he stuck around. 

Dylan Anderson is committed to replace Tubelis (assuming he goes pro next year) and I assume we'll land another PG to play alongside Kerr...with a 3/4 to backfill Mathurin (assuming he also jumps to the league).

Our team will have plenty of experience in 2022-23.  With a year under Lloyd's system and a full year to evaluate international players and transfers...this team has lots of upside.  The recruiting announcements/commitments likely won't roll-in until we can prove that Arizona will be a free-flowing offense like Gonzaga over the past 20 years.  Fingers crossed that Kerr makes it happen immediately.  He has the talent to do so!

Lol 41% from 3 is not streaking, 36% from 2 is hardly miserable especially when most where mid range attempts. His only faults were his size and questionable shot selection. If Akinjo was on this team without a doubt it's a top 25 level squad.

TBrown and Ira Lee both transfered and committed before MMM was even fired so blaming Lloyd is stupid. JBaker also elected to transfer before MMMs firing.

What players will help the program going forward? Pelle? Pelle might be the 3rd best player on this team and a guy with legitimate pro level potential definitely better than anyone lost outside of Akinjo.

Dezonie, like Baker, Lee, and JBrown departures literally have no impact. All were replaced by better to equal level players and none outside of JBrown would have had much impact on this years team. Losing TBrown and Simpson hurt on paper but it'll depend on how well Kier and Pelle can manage point though both are more talented prospects.

Akinjo would hit 4 of 20 over a 4-5 game span, then catch fire for a couple games. Hell, the guy shot 24% from behind the arc during the year prior. That's streaky.

37.9% from the field was his best season from the field.  So his higher 3-pt percentage compensated to somehow being his overall shooting UP to become the second worst shooter on the team (in front of a freshman Kriisa that never shot 2's). That's good enough to be 333rd out of 335 on the following list:

Pelle's injury will hurt our depth. Hopefully he returns soon because his shot is solid.
