And Puff commits to unc. Arizona had him locked in and unc came in at the last second and stole him away. His bro had to have played a part in helping unc with this. This one hurts.

I agree I think cam Johnson  going there may have helped influence  him to go there.

From the outside, everything lined up to favor Arizona:

- Older brother gets drafted by Phoenix Suns
- Prospect transfers to local powerhouse that has benefited Arizona.

Of those other options, UNC was the one I knew we would lose to.
Pitt was on their as the hometown school.
I never believed they had a legit shot.

You were right then he picked unc I thought he was a  lock to Arizona  this one really stings not getting puff an there is not many targets left on the board arizona needed  this one  I think puff saw what happen with cam an wanted to follow in brothers footsteps.

Recruiting is fluid, and it can change at a moment's notice.
I am not "in the know" but I would assume the negative recruiting pitch went something to the effect of the FBI scandal looming over the program, the uncertainty of our head coach, and the firsthand perks that come with being at UNC.

I want to say that we could flip him, but that would be the homer in me talking.
Miller will be able to rebound from this as long as we come out of the gates hot and recreate a buzz around the program.
Mannion/Green/Nnaji will play a big part in that as long as they shine.
Miller will be able to point to those three as how potential prospects could be used here since all three are projected to head to the NBA after the season.

You mvpreed 2 I agree with you I thought about that myself  if arizona sends  the freshman zeke nico an josh to nba after this year especially if there 1st rounders that would be huge with recruits wanting to come here even though I would like to see zeke another year I have  a feeling after one game that's not gonna happen.
