Something has to be done about Larry Scott not being fired for this. This is just unbelievable.

With just 17.9 million subscribers (per Kagan), the Pac-12 Networks will have fewer subscribers in 2019 than The Pursuit Channel, The Sportsman Channel, Fox Deportes and Z Living, according to Nielsen cable coverage estimates.

We have one of the few ways to get the PAC12 network - The Dish.  I enjoyed it while I had it but we've cut back to the cheapest Dish plan and it's gone.  I don't care.  Most of the games I want to watch are on ESPN anyway.  At one point I tested cord cutting, it was very difficult to get the PAC12 Network.

Based on my experience this is not surprising as you have to go out of your way to get the PAC12 Network.  I wanted it and it was too expensive so I dropped it.  Plus, the content is marginal most of the time.   Yes, it's a disaster for the conference.

Larry Scott is an idiot.
The product is sub par, if the conference had a slew of elite teams to watch it could be different. Maybe create a demand for the PAC12 product, as it is right now not many folks care. Most of the games are on another network, so even less demand.
Larry Scott is an idiot.

Do people think that recruits and their handlers dont know this? Do they think they don't consider national exposure a key element to building their fledgling brands?

Larry Scott is an absolute marook, fire his ass already

Little George

The PAC paid more in rent for the crap hole in the bay than they paid the schools they are supposed to represent? WOW what a crappie job somebody has done. How fast can we 1. Fire the SOB. 2. Move our HQ to Vegas for a much better financial deal. 3. Cut a deal with other providers and or partner with a real network.

BearDown93

Of all the places to put the HQ you choose the Bay area?  Even SoCal would be less expensive. Nothing but egos.

Has anyone said anything good about Scott?  Maybe that halfwit Hansen....but why does he still have job. ?

I don't get it.  He ran the image into the ground and blew a great opportunity to provide our conference exposure to a national platform.

The Pac-12 Network is now a joke & recruiting is realistically down because players want their families to watch them on National TV.

Why does Larry Scott have 7-figure salary?
