I don't like the idea of him playing 27 MPG as the biggest player in a bad conference...and he still only pulled in 10+ boards on 5 occasions.

He's only a 34% career 3-point shooter.  We have EIGHT guys on our roster this season that are far better outside shooters...that aren't needed under the basket for rebounding purposes.

Hopefully, he can surprise me as another interior player that works the post.

1. I do not think his size, or lack of, is going to be much of a problem with our new system.
The spacing and lanes will allow everyone to crash the glass on offense, and on defense, we rebound by committee anyway.
Plus we don't know how the SOP were for those Ivy League schools; they may have ran styles that made his size useless (see Arizona v Buffalo).

2. His ability to space the floor at a respectable clip is what Miller has to be looking for.
6'9 and able to stroke it from deep, as a Stretch PF, in our new system COULD be very dangerous.
We don't know what our new offense is going to look like yet, so he could be exactly what we want/need.

3. We will have Jeter (hopefully) for one more season, so we won't need Gettings to be an interior post presence for us.
I also believe we will bring in another "big" in 2018 that would be able to play inside for us, whomever that prospect may be..
