If Miller is proven innocent do you want him to still coach at Arizona?

If he is innocent...I believe the UofA would be insane to let him go.  Personally, if he is found to be guilty, I would still want him here.  This for several reasons.  First, he has proven he can coach by taking a bunch of 3 and 4 star players to an Elite Eight his second season.  Second, because if he did this he did this because the powerhouse teams that have more or less ruled March Madness were all doing it and he had to do it to compete.  Third, because you have to know he's hearing, reading all the comments about him not getting the UofA to the Final Four and he wanted to accomplish that FOR ARIZONA FANS.  Fourth, he didn't start doing this when he first got here.  This was because he realized that he couldn't keep up with the likes of the schools, like Kentucky and Duke who are getting the cream of the crop in recruiting, every year.  You can get lucky sometimes with a bunch of 3/4 stars who have been underrated/overlooked.  But even if you did, it's still hard to beat a team with 6 or 7 top ten 5 stars.  Until and unless there is PARITY in FOLLOWING THE RULES of recruiting, those that are cheating the system are going to be really hard to beat.  And honest intentions and moral operations get you squat when you're not producing the "winning teams".  If Coach Miller did resort to this tactic that the other majors are and have been doing, he did it for the right reasons.  We've seen how well he was appreciated by not getting to the FF.  If he did as reported, he did it so he could get enough talent to accomplish what the fans/university wanted above all else.  Finally, from everything we've seen, Coach Miller has worked very hard to get players who were morally, ethically good people.  He hasn't recruited thugs and criminals(Hi Dana, Steve), He hasn't taught cheating tactics(Hi Coach K, Coach Cal), he's coached teams in a play hard...no cheap shots manner.  So, I'd stand by him even if he did what they say.

We have a ship to right either way. It would be better to part ways and move on the right path but Miller's buyout is large.  And recruiting is going to take a hit no matter what.  Our win column isn't going to look any better with anyone else in there who is going to want this job right now.

Plus this whole crap storm is still ongoing.  What are the chances we pull off a miraculous coaching win and their name is next on the list? Or maybe this forces a bunch of reform in college athletics.

Let the dust settle first unless he is guilty.

To put it as simply as possible, if Miller is innocent, there is no reason to do anything.
He is the one who rebuilt this program, you keep him until he leaves OR gives you reason to let him go.
Right now, everything is an allegation until there is physical/visual/audio evidence to prove it.

If Coach Miller is found to be guilty, then we should replace him. If he is not guilty OR if the NCAA continues to drag their feet--then we need to stand by our coach. In the USA- you are still innocent until proven guilty. We owe that to Sean Miller.  It is always easy to jump on the bandwagon and say that he should go- we are better than that.  BEAR DOWN people.  We are ARIZONA!!!

Of course.  But I think the question is misconceived.  I would say I want him here until he is proven guilty, not if he is proven innocent.

Okay, well we all know how slow the FBI is regarding cases. They like to take their time, so I dont see any verdicts coming out until about the end of the year, or longer. With that said, what does Arizona even do with Miller in the meantime? Its basically schroeder's cat right now. Does UA believe he's clean and keep him? How long are they going to have sit out and not coach? Do they think he may have done something that he shouldnt have? They have a tough choice to make, but until he is formally charged or something concrete comes out, I think UA needs to keep him and just let him coach because wtf is him sitting out even do for the University?

I find myself wondering if any contact with those people that Coach Miller had wasn't to try to redirect them away from Books, and then to let them know Arizona wasn't interested.  It just doesn't sound like there's any proof of anything being done here.  If Coach Miller is standing down from his responsibilities at this time, it doesn't prove he's done anything.  It could just be that he's waiting on the University to back him and believe he hasn't done anything.  If I was innocent and the U was telling me to stand down until they see proof I didn't do anything I'd be willing to look elsewhere for employment.  I don't think that this scenario is an impossible/improbable way that this is playing out.  The real point is he shouldn't be punished unless/until there is proof.  If they have it then they can fire him if that is their desire.  If they don't...leave him be and let him do his job.  It's only the most critical time of the year to be removing him from the job he loves.
