99 No player, Marcel Yates DC and DBs coach

Coach Yates has served mostly with DBs over his career and found himself trying coach LBs last year. His move back to his natural position should bring some better technical ability in the backfield with our youthful players. More specifically the CBs where we have had some real issues of late. Look for his D to be more aggressive this year and to have better knowledge of what is expected on the field.

Do we have the players to do what he wants to do on D?

Any coach will always point to wanting better players! We do not have the type of player or depth of talent needed to run the D like Yates wants to, but it is better than last year.
