That's fair. Figured being a data / analytics site, there would just be more behind the randomizer mock.

There is in fact a lot that goes into a simulation like this.
When you run the simulation you are looking at 1 of 1. Just as if the actual Tournament were played over and over it would reveal lots of different outcomes.

In order for the predictive model to become potentially more accurate you'd want to run it many, many times (literally millions).
A simulation model is just a tool and something to play around with. Obviously the REAL deal is coming soon and we all hope the Cats make a deep run then!

The sad part is that I would not have been upset had Arizona made it to the Elite Eight and lost to Illinois.
That is a realistic result in my NCAA alternate universe.
To lose to Tennessee is not something I believe will happen.
Lloyd is a much better coach than Baby Pearl, and I do believe that would be the biggest factor in deciding the winner in that matchup.
