What a fuken embarrassment for the Big 12. Someone should be fired. It was a dumb idea to begin with and they clearly did not test it out enough before hand. I'd rather these conference tournament games be at a smaller arena and absolutely packed with fans than have them turn it into some ridiculous show that only distracts from the games.

The sales pitch of "the NBA All-Star Game played on the floor" was enough to convince the Big-12 without any true Due Diligence.

Unfortunately, the NBA doesn't involve hustle, sweat or multiple bodies hitting the floor...which makes it difficult to determine whether the floor would withstand multiple highly-visible matchups.

Luckily the basketball is amazing because without basketball it's the Mountain West.
