This is a tough blow.
Saunders was one of my favorites to watch among the Big 12 opponents.
It is even worse that it had to end on an injury.
I would go as far to say that prospects should be given a half-season injury waiver to finish out their season on their feet.

AJ and Rob have really been on a tear lately, but Richie was the X Factor that made them a real contender. That may be the nail in the coffin for BYU this year.

Bummer for BYU but huge for the Cats, who have a tough remaining schedule. Saunders was the X factor and they're likely not a threat in the second matchup against Arizona.
