FB Spring Camp starts tomorrow

Spring Camp is finally here and yet Basketball is thriving. While we follow our basketball team to another National Championship, we hope, we can still be excited that FB Camp is opening.

We will get to see a lot of the new players that are on campus and what changes have come about with our returning players. The staff has stayed mostly intact which is something different and that should help with development of our individual players as well as the team goals and concepts. Fifita having the same OC for the first time since he arrived is a good thing. He is not the only one that benefits from that. As we enter this season coming off a nine win season last year, my hope is that we support the program and we sell out games.

It is sad that we lost a very good coach recently in Lou Holtz, but keep in mind that much of Coach Brennen's approach is very similar to that of the late great Holtz. He is more of a general manager that allows his assistants to do their jobs. It can be successful as we can hire and retain the best members that we can on our staff. Right now we have as good a staff as we have had and that bodes well.
