Koa Peat Heist??

Is it possible that Koa Peat ends up at Texas at the last minute out of nowhere? They just made a big splash coaching switch with Sean Miller and they may also want to pair that with a major recruiting splash to energize the fanbase. Throw a Texas sized blank check at Koa Peat with a dude he's very familiar with now coaching the program, and I could see him really having to think long and hard about changing his mind even if he was totally set on a different school.

Hopefully this is just dumb paranoia, but damn, that would be a really painful way to strike out.

We'll all find out a few short hours from now.

Miller is a very good recruiter an the longhorns have a really good nil down there.

All indications are that his parents and family with their sports backgrounds have their sights on the long term.
In my mind that eliminates ASU.

Yes, the Peat family always valued education, in addition to athletic success.  He'd be a wonderful addition but I don't know if any recruits will plan to commit to Arizona until they know which players are declaring for the draft (KJ, Carter, Krivas, etc.).

It'll be interesting to see how quickly Miller puts his incoming class together.  He did a wonderful job in 2009 with Momo, Parrom, Solo, D-Will and Kyryl.
