And yet he doesn't even take the portal seriously.

Sanon and Quaintence definitely won't return. Also hilarious to see Phillips struggle.

If any of this is true I actually don't find it funny. This kind of stuff leads to gambling probes and investigations.

Quaintence is a beast.

Sanon is every bit of what I expected. When I watched all his "reels" and showcases, it always seemed like his "handlers" were paying off his competition to sag off and let him get off his shots. I think he is still a monster prospect though because whether or not that is true, he still can light it up.

Alijah Arenas may be similar where he hid from the top level and is still going to hide at USC just so he can ball hog, however he can light it up.

That strategy didn't work for Isaiah Collier in college or for the draft, but Collier is now dominating at PG for the Jazz currently over 10 assists per game lately

This should be hilarious to any Arizona fan. Did assu fans show concern when we were inaccurately accused by ESPN for the withdrawn Ayton story?

Let them probe. Hurley did this to himself by promising income that didn't yet exist. And the incoming players' handlers were supposedly dumb enough to buy it. Good luck landing a Top-25 class after that debacle.

It's been a rough year for Sanon, with team success comes individual success.
BTFD!

And with Hurley, you're always guaranteed to not make the second round of the tournament. Smart way to get exposure, Sanon...

True, but I think he does take it seriously - too seriously. He just gets lost in the fog and over-recruits "Bigs". He really wants to be a program that can run and gun for 2pt buckets.

I don't think it is about them having sympathy for us nor empathy for Ayton or Miller specifically. I think it is more of a Domino effect.

Greed has no limit, no bounds. Simple example - When you are in your 5th year and you know you are going undrafted, you are going to do whatever it takes to cash in even if you are getting a Max feasible type of NIL deal. We are in the Gambling Era right now.

The biggest dilemma for young players is understanding how the professional payscale works.  Yes, most high-level D-1 players make more money with the NIL, as opposed to an NBA rookie contract.  The issue is that delaying the process pushes back their opportunity to graduate through the rookie contract and actually sign a significant extension (or free agent deal).

Hunter Dickinson possibly made more than Bill Self this season but if he's drafted at the end of the 1st round, his process is delayed an additional 12 months before he makes a 9-figure contract.

Regardless, I'm always cheering against assu.  Their coaches, players and fans can remain in the basement of the Big-12 for eternity.  Especially considering the fact that they're proud of their results under Hurley, which embarrassingly doesn't include ONE trip to the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament...
