It's hard to believe that Jason Gardner, who is currently on our STAFF, may be considered our most recent "non-disappointing" PG recruit at Arizona.

I'd love to see the staff land a kid that contributes for more than 2 years at a high level.

(Obviously, this thread is only considering true freshmen recruits, not incoming transfers).

Wow. Very depressing looking at that list. I have always held that Nico Mannion made one of, if not the biggest, mistake of his career by not coming back for a second season. His first year was actually great - 14pts, 5 assists averages. He just hit the freshmen wall. If he had come back, I thought he could have been conference POY caliber and a first rounder.

Agreed. With a second year of becoming comfortable with his outside shot, Nico would have been unstoppable.

PJC exceeded expectations, based on his size and playing time.

Boswell was a tough defender, whose ability to find open shooters was overshadowed by the fact that he couldn't consistently knock down a jumper.

Just find a TJ McConnell in high school. That's simple, right??  Nevermind...
