I'd love to believe it because he was such an amazing player and representative at Arizona.

Realistically, he never sent recruits to Tucson (from Long Beach), never associated with the alumni and was extremely emotional from our opposing sidelines, which makes me think that he just accidentally screwed up his former rival.

If I'm wrong, props to Pierce.
