2023 FB season

I want to state this up front.

The floor this year is FIVE wins.
The ceiling is NINE wins.
I am calling SEVEN wins.

Look for a solid OL performance and a more balanced attack. Looking at last year our run game produced great results. When we went heavy pass we had mixed results. Some big plays and some huge mistakes. With all the youth we had, look for us to take a step forward on Offense in being a lot more consistent and a little more explosive.
Special teams should be a step better this year as well.
Defensively we have questions?
Not really. We will be all new up front. The DL is bigger and deeper. The LBs are much improved and deeper. The CBs look to be solid. The DBs will be where the biggest question lies. I am not impressed with last year's DB group at all, so returning the ones we still have makes me a little unsure here if they are the best we have. They tend to be soft in my opinion. Having a true freshman being our best option at S makes me wonder how nuch we can improve this year. Hopefully a better front seven can produce a more pressure, which was sparse at best last year. When we hurry other QBs they make mistakes. Watch last year's videos.
We cut down our mistakes from last year and we win 7 IF everything else is a push.

The roster is obviously moving in the right direction and the staff is doing a great job of ensuring that all the players are buying-in to the system.

Still, I think THIS season is a complete crapshoot.  Agreed that 7 wins is the realistic number but I wouldn't put money on a floor OR a ceiling for 2023 because there are a lot of questions that need to be answered (specifically QB and O-Line).
