Ironically the Sumlin hire was horrid, but Rich Rod's hire at Michigan was considered horrid as well when Rich Rod was the best thing to ever happen to modern Arizona Football (post 90's)

The only coach that shouldn't be ahead of Sumlin is Petrino. Although he ended his Arkansas career in a dumpster fire, he won a lot of games during a 2-3 year span.
