He may be listed around 240 a year from now. He's a winner of Bill Walton's genetic lottery. It really doesn't seem unrealistic to me that he could put up 8pts/8rbds/2blks/1stl as a freshman in the right role with sufficient playing time. Scary.

Not sure he'll play enough to log big numbers as a Freshman and that's not a bad thing. Players make the biggest developmental strides in practice not games anyway. Again, a great piece to the team for many reasons

Regardless of who is already on the roster, it makes sense to me. Carter and Jamari are happy about it, so it could keep them all around longer. It's also a plus to finally get into the Dream City pipeline, and they've got at least one future blue chip we will be a finalist for. Not to mention the kid is just a very solid prospect in his own right. Seems like a win/win all around.

The tone in this thread is wild. Oh no! We got a bad ass 4 star big. How will we manage? The good news, this level of entitlement only comes when the program is elite.

However, I do wonder what the rhetoric would have been if we didn't secure this in-state talent.

Either way, this kid is a great addition to the class and program. Tommy needs to keep getting these type of recruits.

More importantly, Tommy must stay on brand and continue to be unwavering in what he believes wins. His identity. Lute went after guards, Miller went after wings, Tommy is targeting bigs.

I love it and welcome this kid to Arizona! He's coming in incredibly well coached with a team first, do what is needed to win mindset. Dream City kids are not ISO players with incredible mixtapes. They're team oriented BASKETBALL PLAYERS that are taught the X's and O's of hooping. This monster is at his core a defensive minded athletic kid that led the EYBL in shotblocking, is dominant on the boards and is an easy lob target. That's exactly the type of grit and motor any team needs and our program is desperate for.

Depending on rotation and team makeup, he's a walking 8-10 rebounds, 3 blocks and a couple of easy buckets guy. As important, he's a multi year talent that can anchor a squad given the opportunity.
