"I actually committed Friday on the first day of the visit," Tuihalamaka said. "I had a great visit and it felt like home for me.

"I really got along well with the other players on the team. It reminded me a little bit of Mater Dei because of how big the Polynesian culture is there and I felt right at home."

The coaching staff made a big impact on Tuihalamaka as well.
