I'm surprised that Vonleh is leaving. I though that she and Nnaji would be the future of our front court. Bummer...

Yes,  but those ladies not playing much on this years team! openiong spots for transfers. Excellent freshman class coming in though.

Vonleh is a bit of a loss but with Cate Reese coming back?

We have Post Maya Nnaji coming in along with three GuardsKailyn Gilbert, Lemyah Hylton, and Paris Clark coming in.
Combine that with what we have coming back we should be fine. Ware, Reese, Chavez, Conner, Pueyo, and Pellington.

Also looking at adding a couple players via the portal.

2023 first commit is Montaya Dew who is a top post player in the 23 class

I know man, just messin' with ya. I'm just a pessimistic wreck this week. The ladies are indeed looking up.

Something just did not mesh well with this team this year. Cate was not 100% after her injury and the surgery was needed. Pellington finally took control, but was still not consistant enough. The assisits dropped off because it seemed nobody could hit a shot to include the simple lay ups. Cate was injured I understood, but the rest of the team? It seemed nobody took it upon themselves to do more.

At the end of this article you can see that Yeaney will also be back and then you can subtract the five players leaving to get us down to 11 players on scholarship. transfers coming!

One more note is that Adia said that players had to do more than just come to practice. They had to want it and to work hard on their game outside of team practice. It showed on many players this last year that they did not do that! Thus five transfers.

Addition by subtraction is not always a bad thing.
