Will 2023 be an elite, top 10 recruiting class for Arizona Basketball?
At least one basketball recruiting "expert" Jerry Meyer thinks so.

Q: Arizona basketball's 2021 class had just one 4-star commit given the firing of Sean Miller and NCAA issues. Where do you project future class rankings given Arizona's strong start to the Tommy Lloyd era? Top 10 classes in the next 3-5 years reasonable expectations?

A:I would expect a top 10 class sooner than three years out. In fact, I would expect Arizona's 2023 class to be a top 10 class.
Tommy Lloyd can coach, and he can recruit. Arizona is a prime destination and has an exceptional tradition.
Sounds like a perfect storm for elite recruiting.

An important article for the kids in the sandbox to read and digest.

It is always a crapshoot when it comes to a new coach and recruiting.
When did Miller have his first top 10 recruiting class, 2011 right?
That was his third recruiting class.

Lloyd could realistically pull it off in 2022, but I think there are too many dominoes that need to fall for that to happen.
I do believe Lloyd could land a 5* in 2022 though.
2023 would be the first recruiting class that prospects would be able to watch and be recruited by Arizona.
I could it happening in 2023..

It seems like Lloyd  has moved on to  the 2023 class so I dought  we have top 10 class in 2022.

I do wish he would offer more kids  he is very limited on his offers.
We really need a pg. In 2022  maybe a transfer or a euro.

A top 10 class in 2022 is not that far away.
Once the season is over, coaches get hired/fired, NBA declarations, decommits, asking out of NLIs, uncommitted late risers, etc.
With a nice PAC-12/NCAA Tournament, Arizona could snag 2-3 quality bodies and end up in the top 10.

No, I do not believe it will happen because it is clear (from what I believe) that CTL is not bringing in bodies or chasing stars.
He is going to bring in prospects that he believes will fit, and he is not going to accept a commit just to have another body.
