Well deserved. She fills the stands and brings attention to the program on a national platform.

Couldn't be happier to lock in Adia for life.

I recently heard that the men's tournament produced a profit in the hundreds of millions, and the women's tourney lost a few mill. I'm curious, has the Arizona women's program turned a profit since Adia's arrival, one that would support her pay raise? On what planet does the leader of an enterprise make three-quarters of a million dollars when her or his product operates in the red?  What this pay increase means in real terms, is that the men's football and basketball programs have the added pressure of earning enough additional revenue to cover the debt created by this feel-good reaction to an outcome that in and of itself, impacted a very small portion of the overall fan base. It's not my money so I guess I shouldn't care. Life is full of mystery and outcomes are not always logical -- I get that.

The NCAA absolutely lost money on the women's tournament.  I think Arizona is basing her pay on the local revenue from projected ticket sales, sponsorships, etc. within Tucson.

The ladies sold out the WNIT and would have filled a nice chunk of McKale with season tickets if fans were allowed to attend last season.  Their revenue doesn't touch that of the men's program, yet they're on an upward trend that definitely requires a nice pay-raise for Adia.

Proud of the job Adia has done. I hope everyone remembers that Aari is a rare find and that duplicating this years success may never happen again. I hope we are NOT calling for Adia's head in a few years because of some unrealistic imaginations.

CSM has had to endure much undue criticism and pressure from the fraudulent ESPN story to the Book FBI nightmare that was really over blown. Our name has been dragged through the mud by others and our administration did NOT have the balls to even stand up for our Program or Coaches. Even after a HUGE investigation that turned up ZERO. How many Arizona players paid? ZERO! How many level 1 infractions IF you go by the NCAA's own set of rules? ZERO! In fact you'd be hard pressed to find a level 2 offense if you are honest about it. CSM is a stubborn mule headed coach, but he has followed the council of the administration and alienated one of his BEST and TRUEST friends and assistants. Also lost two other faithful assistants for BS crap. Our biggest enemy is NOT CSM, but the Administration who has castrated our own coaches and program. Loyalty goes both ways and we the fans have been put through the ringer, but the Program and the basketball staff of one CSM have paid dearly with their reputations for life because of a totally failed administration.

If I F'd up and cost my employer a SIX million dollar buyout only to find out there was NO THERE there, followed by a horrendous hiring that sent us backwards and cost us another EIGHT million dollar buyout to right the ship, I'd have been run the hell out of town already. Yet we have a MID-MAJOR AD that appears to be in over his head, and a President who is out of his zone in directing the calls and we continue to trust them? People have complained about how Berne put us in debt, but what the hell has Robbins done for us? At least the debt Berne built got us a practice facility and other physical things. We are out 14 million in buyouts and ALL the money in lost revenues from attendance failures because of these clowns now running our University Athletic Dept. And you TRUST them to fix it?

I prefer to stick it out with CSM and a top 15 team next year. Not that my thoughts really matter much.

I see a lot of older fans, like me, walking away from Arizona basketball, and taking their money with them. I do hope this monumental mishandling of the Miller situation comes back to bite Robbins and Heeke in their collective asses. It hard to imagine anyone in their position screwing the pooch more than they have. I do hope they both fall on hard times, and it lasts. I also hope Arizona football thrives under the new coaching regime -- because college football is now my last sporting destination -- I'm done with college hoops regardless of who takes over the reins.

It looked like an absolute debacle when the athletics department allowed Lute to try and make things work prior to retirement.  Within 12 months we had an Elite 8 roster pieced together and the program was stable.

If our AD can land a guy like Luke Walton, this will be perfect timing. Otherwise, there will be plenty of others that follow your lead.
