Happy for him, wish he was here.

Of course no mention of UofA in the announcement:

Not sure where the ties were severed, but the animosity continues to grow between Pierce and the U of A. 

I'm with you, Jav...wish he was on our sidelines.

Don't post often, but am an alumni and die-hard Wildcat fan.  It's unfortunate what has become of our football and basketball programs.

If I recall correctly, Pierce became a notable Wildcat primarily for his success in the NFL.  I obviously don't know the situation, but I don't understand him coaching for ASU.  I could see opting to coach anywhere, but UA.  But to coach at ASU....That, to me is just wrong.  Must've been something pretty bad.
