Lots of doctors have disputed CDC claims. Even Faucey admitted early on that there were effective treatments. CDC is a politically driven organization and not known for factual info. Claims otherwise are no more truth than anyone else's opinion. I am not critical of the seriousness of the situation, but we have to look at all the info, and not take only one side as fact.
