I like the idea, but I don't know how they can realistically do this and have every team play. Maybe they'll have teams playing all day everyday to get through the 1st couple of rounds of 64? Thoughts??
Maybe they can hold it in a football stadium and build 4 courts and have 4 games going at once? That would be interesting.
Cardinal stadium would be nice
They love Indy for multiple reasons. Besides the NCAA home-site...it's a city that isn't heavily populated, but has plenty of hotels to accommodate players.
Also, there are lots of nearby universities that can host tournament sites. Since they need to "clean" the floors, seats, benches, etc. between every game, we won't have the same quick turnaround between matchups. Therefore, it would be nice to utilize campuses from IUPUI, Butler, Indiana, Purdue, Ball State, DePauw and Bankers-Life/Lucas-Oil Fieldhouses.
This is a great idea...as long as the players can quarantine for 2 weeks prior to the tourney. I hope we make it through the season, but I'm not too optimistic.
I am thinking of moving back there myself. Do not like the cold, but there are advantages that are not found in Arizona.

It's official. It won't matter for Arizona, but I like the early orchestration of the tourney. This allows hotels, transportation, cleaning crews and other contractors to prepare for the teams.
Glad we won't see fans in attendance. As long as I can watch games in person, I'll be ecstatic. Devastated when everything fell apart at the last minute in 2020...
Bet it gets the axe
