Not to be negative here, but I believe we have had others that coumd do that in practice but come game time disappeared.
Still goes to show that we have a 6'8" kid that has nice range. This is going to be a team full of diverse players that can do anything.
And a team of question marks. Which begs the question. Who / what do you guys consider the biggest question mark?
For me it is Jordan Brown.
I don't think there's ANY way to know what to expect. The only player that we know well enough to set expectations is Ira. Otherwise, our leader in scoring, assists, rebounding, defense, etc. could come from anywhere...
If he is not able to perform like that on the floor, I do not care to see vids like this.
Social media has created a false perception of doing things for the looks.
The "workout warriors" or the "mixtape legends" are not real people.
The majority of these people are not able to produce on the floor in a matter that relates to their social media following/hype (see Julian Newman, Trevor Dunbar, Kiwi Gardner, Aquille Carr, etc).
Maybe it is because I am turning into the old guy because I can say "when I was coming up, we didn't have social media to post us working hard, we just worked hard"
If Green can improve on his 36% and Mathurin can shoot over 35% that will help losing the 3 other players over 35% from 3 Hazzard, Gettings and Smith.
Definitely a priority to find reinforcements there!

Amen
He's got a nice shot from the corner. Hopefully he gets some playing time.
We need all the shooters we can get this season. Hopefully that stroke is there on game night.
Going to need it going forward. Losing so many shooters over 35% from 3 things could get messy without at least a cns shoot threat for spacing.
I hope mathurin can make them in the games I have been so disappointed by the streaky shooting lately .
Like barcello,Randolph smith.

Barcello.......
Barcello percentage was just fine once he transferred. Name one perimeter player that shot a high percentage under Miller, other then the opponent? Or increased it while at Arizona. It's coaching and system that isn't working. JMO

Off the top of my head. Kyle Fogg and Jamelle Horne. I know you said perimeter, but Derrick Williams too. That's off the top of my head. They all improved their 3 point shooting under Miller. I'm sure with a quick search I can find a few more
Yah- all three improved and Williams improvement was amazing.
Dylan Smith improved from 33% (SO) to 35.1% (JR) to 36.5% (SR)
Kadeem Allen jumped from 36% to 42.7%
Gabe York improved from 34.5/38.5/40.0/42.1%
Solomon Hill improved from 22.2/35.4/38.9/39.0%
B-Lav improved from 14.3/34.8/37.7/48.7%
Guys like Trier, NJ, Foggy and PJC improved over the course of their career, but were "slightly" down during their final seasons.
Looks to me like every guard that stayed for more than 2 years under Miller showed serious improvement on their outside shot. Those who "transferred in" were just looking for an opportunity to showcase their skills to the NBA...and typically made selfish 3-point attempts.
