I didn't know Jawann McClellan became a police officer. This is an interesting story.
"I think I've only experienced racism twice in my life, and one of them was at the University of Arizona. My freshman year, we were at a party and I don't even know what happened, but something happened at the party and I wasn't even in the party, I was standing outside. ... I was handcuffed and stuffed in the back of a police car for four hours and wasn't charged or arrested, but I couldn't leave. I still can't figure that one out, but it happened."

I'm happy to see J-Mac with a career that will positively impact others' lives. He was one hell of an athlete and Houston can use somebody with his attitude on the force...especially during these crazy times.
Houston has some rough neighborhoods. Hopefully he stays safe down there...
I love this! Totally support the police and the risk they take every day for what is peanuts in pay for what they have to deal with. Jawann is a real man.
