Title: Arizona has offered 6'9 5-Star 2021 PF Paolo Banchero & make his top 6 list
Post by: WILD on April 29, 2020, 12:08:53 PM
Arizona has offered 6'9 5-Star 2021 Paolo Banchero. He already has us in his top 6 list. Expect it to come down to Arizona Vs Washington on landing him. Adding Jason Terry as an assistant will give Arizona an edge.

Which one of these schools is not like the other?

A single Adidas school in a sea of Nike?

I feel like Washington has such a large lead, but with the possible team we could have in 2021, that could be another edge for us.

If Ira Lee plays a big role on this team, PF recruits will take notice that they can immediately fill his role. Unless Brown and Koloko earn a majority of the minutes (which is unlikely), Arizona will likely be in the mix for a high profile big man such as Banchero.

That is a VERY good guess, but no that is not what I was thinking...
I was thinking more along the lines of which one of these schools is considered "elite" and which one is not, with the exception of the in-state favorite program?

The irony in it, now that I think about it, the one school that I was referring to can replace us on the list of elite schools within the last 2-3 years.

It is official, we are out of the running!
Both of his hands are touching Gonzaga and Washington.
Yeah this is over before we even got started...damn!

(This is sarcasm for those that do not know. PLEASE do not add me with no goofy logic, PLEASE!)

Paolo's homeboy released his Top 5. We will have to hope that they don't place a ton of significance on teaming up together in college, otherwise everyone is playing catch-up to Duke, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

I do not believe the whole "package deal" wave is still active for prospects.
If there is one thing that I have learned, it is that each elite prospect has his/her own list of things they are looking for in a program.
They will turn on their own to find the right program for themselves.

I personally think that terry being on staff  an having the connection with his mom could be huge an it seems like  banchero  likes Arizona  so I think there is a chance though Arizona  probably  has to make for lost time.

I really like banchero he looks really  this would  be  one  of millers biggest wins  if he pulled this off with all the blue bloods involved will be hard  though  Arizona  was involved early  an backed off  when romar left .  Both his parents  went to Washington  so that will be a challenge to pull him from there it sounds like he could go to any of the 6 schools
