Offering a Turkish player... in late April.. with 3 open scholarships.
Nahhh, Doesn't reek of desperation at all.
He's played the last 2 years in the USA playing high school ball in California. He's a good shooter who might need to redshirt to bulk up a bit. He's currently a 4 star recruit according to 247 and almost cracks the top 100. It'd be a nice pickup. Miller usually only uses 8 or 9 man rotations anyways. We have our rotation set for the most part

Reminds me a lot of the 2003 class that brought in Radenovic (from nearby Serbia), Walters and Shakur. That team finished 11-7 in the PAC-10. Fun to watch though.
Shouldn't have watched the second video. Especially the ending. ::)
Now is he the European Big people were talking about?

Desparation?
I can see how it can look that way, but when you look at our roster right now, we are missing a big wing, that does not need to have the ball in his hands to make an impact.
Right now, Mathurin/Terry are going to be our pesudo-SF for 2020-21, so we could take this kid, put him as our #3 SF, let him get a year of spot minutes and an elite strength/weight-training program?
I do not see an issue with this kid coming in 2021 as being our primary wing at 6'8 and able to shoot the way he does.

Always skeptical of white euro's. Rarely do they make a major or significant contribution. The athleticism and physical nature of the game is usually too much for them.
Jack Murphy: Kid fills a hole and looks like he will prosper in our system
CSM: nah, some guys on the college hoops boards might think we're acting desperate, we should just turn out the lights and pack this shit up instead of adapting and overcoming
Credit for Miller an murph for finding these international kids this kid looks like his specialty is shooting the ball an we need that bad bring him in.

Hmm...the last white Euro Arizona had was pretty good IMO
Arizona needs shooting an it seems like he can provide it an if Arizona does not land Walton which sounds like they will not bring in tibet in.
Bring him in!
Good size an Arizona desperately needs shooting hopefully he can add weight.
