Ziaire Williams says he will decide on his school by January or February. On Arizona "Arizona is probably the most active recruiter on me for sure" Click link in tweet below to watch Ziaire's interview.

Wow how impressive is this kid! He sounded very smart and educated in that interview. Would love to see him commit to AZ but not going to hold my breath.
Rivals and Scout us calling Arizona the leader
If he did commit to Arizona he would provide star power he would be a go to scorer on the perimeter let's hope he comes here.

Ziaire isn't going to commit until February or March.
I have heard ziaire say in a interview he said January or February but said he will take as much time as he needs I know him posting 7 days means when he can play his first game.
On corey evans twitter Tuesday he said he still likes ziaire too arizona though he is suppose to visit Oregon eventually an corey evans mentioned ziaire looking into the overseas route I hope that does not happen we really need his services.
Here's the Cory Evans story

I just hope ziaire is not interested in the international route I had not heard that till now. We already lost out terry Armstrong because of due to that.

And Terrance Ferguson
Especially now because there is a lack of recruits left we really need ziaire talent.

Ziaire is a big need I hope Arizona can get him glad Miller is there watching him.

he talked about USC and UNC but didn't mention us.
If I'm not mistaken, Adam Zigoria doesn't like Arizona so he probably avoided questions about us or left them out. In addition, I still believe that it's between USC and Arizona, I really don't know why he would go to UNC. Arizona also has the three most recent predictions on Rivals, 247 doesn't really matter right now as no one has made a recent prediction. I just still think we lead, but you never know.
Nice beardown yea I agree I dont think he likes zagoria likes arizona what's intersting is he said he would visit oregon I am glad he will not visit them I felt like if he visited them they could be a threat I hope Arizona wins in the end he would bring some well needed talent to Arizona if so even if it is for one year an he could replace josh green in starting lineup.
I thought he visited Oregon back in September
I don't think this is his official top 5. We'll have to wait and see if we still lead in landing Ziaire.
https://twitter.com/TiptonEdits/status/1219368660185362435
I sure hope Arizona leads for him we should know soon though.
I can't imagine he thinks a team that has a coach that says his current team is the least talented he's ever coached AND said his AD should fire him, would still be an attractive destination for him.

My FutureCast selection remains set on Arizona for Williams. Oregon, Stanford, UCLA and USC are also involved, with the Cardinal and Trojans sitting in the best spot for him compared to Ducks and Bruins. While I am not entirely confident on my prediction, recent talk has centered around USC for the five-star.
Nice. Arizona has a lot of minutes to go around at the wing next year & I wouldn't be shocked if Williams wanted to be the focal point of our offense.
Yea Corey Evan's does not sound confident anymore he could be headed to usc I think ziaire is friends with the Mobleys an others on usc.
u$c? So he can play in front of an empty stadium for a middle of the PAC team and maybe make the tourney..sounds fun. Hopefully he comes to his senses.
BEARDOWN
Stanford and USC are in a better position than UCLA and Oregon, but Evans is still sticking with his Arizona prediction... if Williams doesn't just go pro.
I was reading article on twitter from eric bossi who is from rivals his prediction is usc for ziaire he says ziaire wants to stay close to home an family are really important to him an he has friends on current usc team an incoming freshman even Mobley.
How is USC doing with the NCAA?
Gotta think if it were that simple he would have committed already.
USC has some serious issues to resolve as well as playing in an empty arena.
I have no idea but if I guessed I would say usc for him but honestly it sounds like it could be Arizona usc or stanford.
Scout is predicting Stanford and Arizona. Rivals is predicting USC and Arizona
What's the holdup with his commitment I wonder? Waiting to see if Green declares? Waiting to see if Arizona gets in trouble with the NCAA? Wasn't he going to announce on April 1st when the McDonald's game was suppose to take place? Wonder when he will decide now

USC had players ineligible and are on the list "AHEAD" of Arizona if Arizona is even on the list. I say that just because the NCAA is about as corrupt and partial as congress.
Ziaire is in zero rush to commit. Wherever he wants to go they'll be a scholarship available
With this entire COVID situation, I believe we are going to see everything take a much slower road than we are used to.
I am not in the know about ZW or his situation, but with this virus looming over our country, I do not see how most prospects are going to be worried much about their next move at this time.
https://twitter.com/therealZiaire/status/1249058165255102464
What a surprise I hope Arizona but probably Stanford or usc.
I would wager USC
I do not feel good about this one, even though this recruitment kind of reminds me of Stanley Johnson back in 2014.
Nobody really knew where he was going to go, and then at the last minute, we found out it was Arizona.
I could make an argument for every school in his final list (7) with the exception of Stanford.
That would mean we have a 1/6 chance (16.67%) chance looking from the outside in?
At least we have an equal shot right lol?!..
The last update I got was the Ziaire wants to come to Arizona, but his parents want him to stay in California with all that's going on. He's either going to do what's best for him or what's best for them. It's not looking good for UofA on this one.
I think we still have a shot. Miller has a OND in 7 of the last 9 seasons (although Turner and Jerrett shouldn't really count).
I'm sure he's heard the pitch and understands that he could be the focal point of our offense next season, especially considering the fact that we need a true SF.

Sounds like DaVonte Neal. Just make sure you show up to the press conference. Haha
Stanford is still 6 1/2 hours from LA where he's from. It wouldn't make sense for him to go to Stanford if he wants to be close to home.
It's a shame he is commiting there all those wasted recruiting hours Arizona put in.
An were probably 2nd in line for his services this sucks.

There is someone on my other family's site that has been saying it is Stanford.
Stanford is a bit closer than that though.
I am in Sacramento, it is about a 6hrs drive from here, from Palo Alto, I would like to think it is not as far.
To be honest, when it comes to us parents, we will make rules that don't make sense to others, as long as we get what we want.
As for ZW, he is a OND prospect, so it won't matter where he goes.
Just like Anthony Edwards going to Georgia, it doesn't make much sense, but if you are elite, you can go where there is little to nothing, and you can do whatever you want.
Yes Stanford has Da Silva/Davis/Terry, but Williams is going to be an alpha wherever he goes.
Going to Stanford is going to give him that education, but being honest, at this moment, Stanford is the better program right now than Arizona so...
Has everyone seen the tweets back and forth between ZW AND JOSHUA Christopher?
Not looking good AT ALL

I thought the screenshot made it pretty self explanatory. But what I was talking about was Joshua Christopher and ZW exchanging tweets about playing for '661' which Is la. Guess we'll know shortly.
Stanford it is. Glad he picked them over USC.
Still confused how somebody on their way to a prestigious institution thinks that they could be 1000% committed to something.
Whatever...good news for the Cardinal.
It was Stanford. I am also glad he didn't pick usc.
It sucks it was not Arizona but atleast was not usc they way they have been landing players.
I would rather see him leave the PAC-12 altogether.
Another 2020 domino to fall, and our options get extremely limited on this Easter Sunday.
Still a lot of time to try and bring things together so I won't sit here and say it's over.
The cupboard is starting to look a little bare...... dang

If ziaire was not going to Arizona I wish he would have taken spot at unc so we could get walton.
