I think we were favored to land him until B will committed.
Nice I hope we land akinjo he proved himself in the big east conference I wonder if him an b.will like each other.
I'm hoping that a Akinjo commit would be the commit that breaks the recruiting dam we've had lately.
Seems like the transfer market is becoming as important as HS recruiting.
I think he committed to Georgetown before Williams recommitment but regardless this would huge if we could snag him. His efficiency isn't impressive but he's a tough hard-nosed PG who I think would really strive under Miller plus given our need and lack of PGs out there this is a must.
If b.will is healthy next year we could have 2 point guards if we land akinjo plus there is baker an terry I know the situation with b.will is uncertain so we need a point guard plus b.will can play the 1 an 2 akinjo also looks like he defends it would be a big get.
Hopefully Arizona did not blow it with akinjo last night I know he is interested in gonzaga an they were better last night at the same time there is an opening for him next year at Arizona an he could interpret it as Arizona really needs him in 2020.
Any indication on how the visit went? I've read some mixed things on this kid, but we are a bit slow on the recruiting trail this year.
I was thinking the same thing how did hisvisit go I was wondering hope it went well I would really like to see Arizona get him.
Boeheim can be an ass at times but it's strange for a coach to openly attack a player like this. smh

The unfortunate thing is that there's a lot of truth to Boeheim's statement. All of the Georgetown losses live and die by Akinjo's A:TO ratio. His shooting has been consistently bad since arriving on campus & his game has always reminded me of Kobi's.
Hoping Akinjo tries to emulate Nico's game (if he ends up in Tucson).

it's being reported that the visit went well. He will visit more schools though
Nice glad visit went well I figured he will take more visits I expect Gonzaga to get one.
So the prospect who left the coast because his family wanted him to get away is now coming BACK to the West?
If I were to spitball some programs I think will be a good fit for him: Oregon/Washington/USC/ASU are some that will have a hole/need for a quality guard and could use his skill set.
It's being reported that Gonzaga and Oregon will be Arizona's biggest competition. Arizona is right there in the recruitment
