Too bad ESPN decided to allow, or maybe require, their on air talking heads to double as political pundits. It used to be that a person like me could turn to sports outlets and escape the woes of humanity. The ESPN organization is dead to me. CBS & Fox-S1 would be wise to learn a lesson from what once was a watchable sports outlet. Or not. Then again, maybe the real issue is the glut of information and the fact that 24-7 coverage requires a whole lot more than simply reporting actual sporting news? Maybe the industry has made it too easy to become disinterested?
