Memphis player and number recruit in 2019 James Wiseman ruled ineligible by the NCAA because Memphis coach Penny Hardaway have him 11,000 dollars to move when he was in highschool. Wow, the Memphis ship is about to go down hard.

New article about his situation. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaab/2019/11/14/james-wiseman-ncaa-memphis-basketball-penny-hardaway-eligibility/4190826002/
Wiseman just lost his lawsuit against the Tennessee Secondary Athletic Association (TSSAA)... Turns out he was also ineligible in high school. The dude is a walking violation that sues over everything.
I'm in the minority but I think this situation is ridiculous.
This was 2008...so Wiseman was likely 8 years old when Penny helped his family move. It was a friendly gesture and Hardaway had NO idea that the kid would be his top prospect while coaching his alma mater.
I haven't read all the details, so perhaps somebody can tell me why this is wrong.
It's my understanding that 2008 was a typo and it should read 2018.

Penny gave the Wiseman family money in the Summer of 2017. Penny gave $1 million to Memphis in 2008 (making him a booster).
Oh dang. I saw 2008 from another source yesterday as well.
That changes everything...they're screwed! Haha.
