Ever since the commitment from Dalen Terry, Arizona has extremely struggled in the 2020 recruiting class. Terry said he was going to be a recruiter himself and believed he would get a number of recruits yet we have none and even lost one of his own teammates who was supposed to be a lock. Ziaire is sounding fairly interested but these are all just rumors and hearsay. Then there is Kerwin Walton but I haven't heard much from him at all since his official visit. I know we are in Dawson Garcia's top schools but it sounds like we aren't in the race for him. I'm just confused as Miller said we would get multiple recruits this month so I wonder who they will be, WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?
Beardown in my opinion I think miller thought he had puff wrapped up I think there is a good chance with kerwin Walton though like you said have not heard much about him lately other than that not sure I think miller has to do his best to get ziaire now that puff went to unc there is also frank anslem who could reclassify to 2020 if he wants he is a big. Not sure really other than that if I guessed walton would be my best guess on a player arizona lands but I think he is not a sure deal unc is also trying to get walton an ziaire I don't think they get ziaire now that puff went there walton could possibly go there if he doesn't mind the bench I hope miller can pull in walton I hope miller can find some guys in 2021 who can reclassify two 2020 if not some Jc guys or grad transfers.
I agree to I thought after dalen committed arizona would get hot on the recruiting trail that has not happen I think recruits are scared of sanctions coming down.
I think we land 1 more guy then find a gem 3 star + some transfer.
I don't think its an issue with NCAA sanctions, but more an issue with very limited space for playing time as the team is 90% set going into next year. Only a true bluechip prospect could crack the rotation. Donovan knew it.

Gotta say I disagree with this take.
I think the 2019 class was strong cuz he could sell the elite guys on the fact that the NCAA won't drop sanctions or punishment while they are on campus, but as time passes and it's still in the air the kids (and their families) are spooked by it.
Also there is a very good chance that we lose Jeter, Hazzard, Gettings, Smith, Mannion, Green and Nnaji after this year... How does that lead to our team being 90% set for next season?
We're going to be top 3 for Ziaire, he really enjoyed his visit and it will go down to us and USC. He would have gone to UNC but now that they have Puff I doubt he's interested. I bet we land Kerwin because of his relationship with Zeke. After that it's gonna be grad transfers.
I think we have a good chance with kerwin Walton it just remains be seen what he does an ziaire were probably top 3 we need a big an a pg. For sure.
I am little worried this class could end up like the 2018 class where arizona had to wait till spring to assemble a class right now we only have terry I thought puff was a lock I was wrong in 2018 we had b.will an he was the only that came to Arizona after the investigation was taking place an miller brought in dd an grad transfers to fill the class an it was a struggle last year there still is few players left like adam miller walton ziaire I dont think Arizona leads for miller or ziaire they may lead for walton not sure but walton is on a visiting spree he is visiting calafornia this week an Vanderbilt next week so he seems to be visiting everyone who offerd who knows when he will decide.
If what the OP said was true, unless you were referring to October, we are barely getting this month started.
I would guess that PJ was one that he thought we would land.
He is off the board, so I will assume there is a domino that is going to fall in our favor this month.
With the ESP being in December, all we REALLY need to do is keep DT committed and then sign.
The fun doesn't start until after the coach shuffle starts, NBA declarations pass, players transfer free agency begins; which is going to be the NEW season of recruiting/rebuilding for programs that struck out on the HS prospects.
True the spring for arizona will probably when they add most of there players an could be when ziaire decides on a collage.
This is not going to be a fun thread.
No it does not seem that way.
Hamster and Jdmarti, recruiting is fluid.
The same way we think things are going to be dim, we could have a string of commitments and then Arizona is the new "IT" school.
The same way Miller pieced the team in 2018-19, the same way he would do it in 2020-21 if need be
