Dalen Terry 6'6 4-Star 2020 SF has committed to ARIZONA! Terry's Best asset is his defense, passing ability, vision for positions, ball skills and play making ability. He visited the UofA campus on June 24th.
"They made up a lot of ground really quick," said Terry. "They offered me and I'm already more comfortable with them than anyone else. "The whole staff recruits me; they're the only school that recruited me with their entire staff."

Hell yes. Nice start to the class!
Reminds me of Kevin Parrom...which is a tremendous complement!
Here's what they're saying about Terry.

Nice addition to start the class. A playmaking forward sounds familiar to someone already on the roster! Another forward and a point guard and this class is set. Everything else is just a cherry on top.
This kid plays team ball. His assist numbers from last year are nuts. The handle can be a bit robotic at times, but he's always working on it, and he'll be a lot smoother by the time we get him on campus.
It'll be interesting to see what kind of production he puts up next season for Hillcrest because they're even more loaded now than they were before. 2021 5-stars Michael Foster Jr. and Keon Edwards have transferred in, and Kyree Walker is still there for his 20th year of HS. I hope Dalen still gets his chances to shine and make plays.
Exactly where an in state talent like him should end up!
Another story on Terry. He averaged 11 assists a game 👀

I am beyond excited to add a player of his caliber nice pick up I hope more players will commit soon I really like Terry glad he is on board.
I can't imagine anything better than a wing that averages double-digit assists.
The staff obviously backed off of Walker...but is he close to Terry? Didn't know if they had a relationship that would spark interest in Kyree to Arizona.
I thought there was talk that Arizona was not recruiting Walker I know Terry is going to be playing Micheal foster who Arizona offerd a scholarship to any way one wing out of the way probably need anot another 2 like puff z.willams chritopher.
Coach Miller working like he does...what would we do without him?
Bear Down Coach Miller!!
This kid is a Delon Wright twin. Huge upside with Dalen super stoked for him to be the first commit for 2020.
Great start to the 2020 class, and lets keep the dice rolling! BTFD Terry, welcome to family!!!!!
Interesting to see how many wings Sean Miller brings in we will have dd an Baker for 2020 now Terry probably need 2 more those guys will play the 2 an 3 since they are interchangeable positions I hope for burnett puff Christopher ziaire Williams 2 of those guys on there.
Nice the first 2020 recruit. Great news'
This 2020 recruiting class is all over the place.
I did not have a clue who would be targeted in this class, but I did believe Burnett was going to be the first to commit.
Funny how many many prospects we are targeting that attend Hillcrest or Bella Vista Prep in Arizona.
Congrats on the commit DT!
Welcome to the family that is Arizona!
Mvpreed2 do you still think we have a good chance with burnett

I will start by saying I don't have any inside information on Arizona or the prospects that we are recruiting.
My answer would be yes though.
We are going to lose MH/DS to eligibility, and are anticipating losing NM/JG to the NBA.
Then there is the anomaly that is BW and what is going on with him.
That is five guards that could be off the team in 2020-21.
The only guards we would still have would be DD and JB coming off his redshirt year.
I would pencil in NB as a front-runner based on the way the staff is painting the picture.
If he's truly interested in Arizona, he will not commit until the spring.
Burnett will likely track Josh Green's success. If JG is killing it and on track to be a lottery pick, we have a decent shot. If not, our backcourt could be busy with him, Terry, Doutrive, Williams and Baker on the wings.
Without Green, there will be plenty of minutes to go around. If he somehow stays for a sophomore year...slim chance for a high end recruit.
Plus i still think Miller will add another 2 players that can play the 2 an the 3 position hopefully one is puff.

Of those four, I believe BW is the only one that could handle PG duties.
JB probably COULD, but I don't believe that would be the best for his skill set.
DD/DT are off guards, but I believe Miller would still be able to make that work with all five of those prospects.
BW - PG, DD/JB - SG, DT - SF; NB could play a combo role but primarily as PG with those four.
I totally agree that Miller could make the rotation work, however I can't envision him choosing Arizona over his other 11 finalists if those 5 (and possibly one more recruit) are on the roster in the Fall of 2020.
Green is key to Burnett's recruitment...although keeping Josh for a sophomore year would be a ridiculous bonus!
Dalen will sign his NLI with Arizona tonight!
