Marvin Bagley is considering reclassifying/playing in college this season, a source confirmed at CBS

Marvin Bagley III, the top-rated prospect in the Class of 2018, is exploring the possibility of reclassifying and enrolling in time to play college basketball this season, a source confirmed to CBS Sports on Friday.

The source insisted no decision is finalized -- and that it remains unclear if it's even possible. But is reclassifying at least being explored by Bagley?

"Yes," the source said.

Bagley told reporters here at the Nike Peach Jam on Thursday that he plans to officially visit Duke next week -- then Arizona and USC in some order. If the 6-foot-10 forward were able to graduate from high school in time, get cleared academically and play in college this season, he would change the landscape of the sport drastically in the sense that Duke, Arizona and even USC could have a reasonable claim to the preseason No. 1 ranking by adding Bagley. Additionally, Bagley would immediately move to the top of most 2018 NBA mock drafts -- ahead of Michael Porter Jr., DeAndre Ayton and everybody else.

Jerry Meyer of 247 Sports wrote earlier Friday that it's possible Bagley will reclassify while adding that his recruitment "has the feel of a Duke and USC showdown." The Arizona native who attends high school in California has drawn the biggest crowds at Peach Jam this week while dunking relentlessly, making jumpers and further establishing himself as the best high school prospect in the world. He had 25 points and 13 rebounds in a win late Thursday. His next game is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET.

That decision probably wouldn't bode well for us.. UCLA or USC maybe benefits the most?  Kentucky already has a pretty loaded front court in the 2017 class as well.

USC doesn't have any more room either.
I don't know about UCLA, but I would guess it would be Duke/Kentucky/Kansas as they have no problem "making room" when the numbers don't add up.

Each have the same body type, 6'7-6'8 forward.
I do not agree that each are the same.
Knox is a true SF, while I would put Washington and Vanderbilt closer together, even though I think Vanderbilt is a Stretch PF that wants to be a PF, while Washington is set on being a PF, just adding different layers to his game.
