At this point we've got to hope Johnson goes to prep school in Arizona & becomes a Wildcat in 2020. (Maybe the pic is a sign)
Arizona might be the team to beat, though Notre Dame, Pitt and North Carolina would definitely be options, too. He's currently on the UNC campus working out with his brother Cam.
Prep school is also a possibility, as is Johnson moving to Phoenix with his brother and finishing his high school career in Arizona.

It's wayyyyyyy too late in the process for him to reclassify. Last time a player reclassified up a year was Akot and we all saw how that worked out. The roster looks great right now and all the pieces are there so why change things so late.
I hope he comes here someone would have to leave though.

at jumpinjohnny-I thought it was fireside Theater...but yes I remember it! I also have a black tipped thumb and forefinger on each hand. To prove we weren't pansies, we took a different route. Went to "The Swing" in Palos Verdes, Southern Calif. The swing was a tree that had a branch that grew out over a cliff that was about 300 to 400 feet high. We'd get ripped and go out on the limb and swing. If you fell you lost...there was no beach, just huge boulders with the waves crashing up against them.
Anyone called us a pansy, we took them to the swing with us. After we went out on the limb, we'd come back onto the ground, and start to tell them it was their turn...however all we saw was a**holes and elbows. They never called us anything to our face again...but word was they told everyone we were "Crazy!" when we weren't around. LOL
That ok I hope he commits to us in 2020 it looks like the only thing left is to find out about b.will if he can play or not hope we find out soon if he can't play those other other 10 players will be crucial with Baker an brown sitting out an b.will if he can't play that leaves us at 10 scholarships with our recent injury issues these last 3to 4 years it is kinda scary.

This kid is a must him and Terry especially now with a year of playing time together would be able to bring that same type of chemistry Josh and Nico are bringing in this year and would definitely help revitalize our wing play.
I fill so much better about landing puff now It is the same way I felt about marjon beauchamp until he decided he would not play in collage he would go really well with dalen Terry with his shooting ability both guys could be starters next year. The duration of the visit does not matter last time I checked.
The biggest difference is the prospect pays for their trip on an UV, an OV is paid for by the program.
There are also some aspects of the OV that don't happen on an UV; meeting with advisors/counselors, a more in-depth outlook on the academic/athletic aspects of the program.

Yes, Arizona is the leader and Johnson's official visit earlier this fall could not have gone any better. The four-star will play his senior year alongside Arizona commit Dalen Terry and he has a strong relationship with Miller. That's all very positive for the Wildcats, but there are two other programs that cannot be discounted, either.

From the outside, everything lined up to favor Arizona:
- Older brother gets drafted by Phoenix Suns
- Prospect transfers to local powerhouse that has benefited Arizona.
Of those other options, UNC was the one I knew we would lose to.
Pitt was on their as the hometown school.

I am not "in the know" but I would assume the negative recruiting pitch went something to the effect of the FBI scandal looming over the program, the uncertainty of our head coach, and the firsthand perks that come with being at UNC.
I want to say that we could flip him, but that would be the homer in me talking.
Miller will be able to rebound from this as long as we come out of the gates hot and recreate a buzz around the program.
Mannion/Green/Nnaji will play a big part in that as long as they shine.
Miller will be able to point to those three as how potential prospects could be used here since all three are projected to head to the NBA after the season.
