Top 2020 PG 6'5 Daishen Nix says Arizona is one of the teams prioritizing him. Not the best Q&A, but Arizona is in the mix for Nix. New assistant Jack Murphy should give us the inside track on landing Nix who's from Vegas.

Nix highlights
Why not go after the #1 PG again next season?
The way things are looking we won't have a PG next season.
NM appears to be gone after this season, some are uncertain of BW knee health going forward, and some are not sold on AB.
Good to have the #1 PG up the road, but a prospect waiting for an offer (Kentucky) usually makes me assume that's where he wants to go.
I would really like to see arizona land nix they will need a point guard with hazzerd an nico leaving.
Reminds me a lot of Jalen Brunson at Nova.
Nice handles, keeps his head up in transition, smooth passer and natural shot.
Really hope we land Nix because it's almost assumed that Nico is a OND.
Nix will be paying attention to how Miller let's Nico run the team. If everything goes to plan that will help our chances to land Nix.
NIX AN BURNETT 2 GUARDS I WOULD LIKE TO SEE I KNOW SEAN MILLER IS REALLY PRIORITIZING THE POINT POSITION AN MY UNDERSTANDING IS BURNETT IS A COMBO GUARD.
I really like nix an he is the top point guard in the west I hope Miller can bring him in I heard some guys on sports radio saying it will be tough that he is a UCLA lean I think we have a good chance especially if he visits az.

Being a lean anywhere doesn't matter much in July.
Let's remember Tarczewski was a Kansas LOCK before Miller came in and started to work his magic.
We also had players we thought were locks to Arizona (Winslow/Rabb) that didn't pan out for us.
Until the ink is dry on that LOI, a lean is nothing more than where you would like to go at the moment.
Unless Nix is planning to commit and sign early, which most 5* prospects don't, there is still a lot of time left here.
There's some people that say he is headed to UCLA it sounds like he is interested in Kentucky.
Nix commits to UCLA.

Good for pac 12 but bad for Arizona they have to face him. Arizona will to find a pg. Somewhere since nico will more than likely be gone after the season maybe a grad transfer.
I would say I never expected Arizona to land him.
