So well deserved! Very glad they stepped up to the plate! (or RIM) :)

Oscar the Grouch here. $400k with the potential for another $285k for the leader of a program that generates zero profit. Had Book been making that kind of money . . . I doubt he would have gone looking for table scraps. In a way I'm glad I'm a hell of a lot closer checking out than entering this Juan Bizzaro world. So much nonsense.

Actually Tennessee Women's Basketball made a profit for many years while they were at the top, and we could as well. Barnes is building something special. Our Softball does well as well so that should not be an issue.

If my wife and I had three daughters instead of three sons my perspective might be different, but I doubt it. There is nothing about women's basketball that causes me to want to spend my disposable income. As a consumer, the product doesn't interest me. No amount of success would change that fact. But I'm just one older person who never thought downtown Tucson could be revived--I know I'm out of touch and behind the times.
Adia was making less as a head coach than Book was making as an assistant.
Turning our miserable program into an NIT champion that actually sold-out McKale by the season's end is an unbelievable feat.
If the season ticket numbers continue to grow, it's proven that WBB can be profitable...not nearly as much as the men's game...but they deserve the opportunity to not play in front of an empty 14,500 seat arena.
Hoping we hold on to Adia for the long-haul!
Pay details.
Nice job by Barnes and deserving of it.

Hilarious that ASSU is giving incentives for Hurley to make the 2nd round of the tourney...or somehow win the Pac-12 regular season.
I think she will be sticking around for quite some time to build this Arizona Power WBB Program.
